I spent some time with my cousin John, who should really get his own Flickr page, but doesn’t post much.
He ended up coming to Seattle for a few days and staying with me and we ended up going on a photo taking road trip. This is one of the pictures we got. This effect was achieved by having a piece of card with a small strip cut out of it in front of the lens. Based on the direction and speed of the card, you could get some interesting effects. For instance, this was almost a double exposure. If you pulled the card one way against something that was moving, you could stretch or compress it.
He also brought a pinhole camera with him that was alot of fun to work with.

At the end of the set are some pictures from Cle Ellum, a train, deserted buildings, and a Scouts building that looks like it used to be a Pacific Brewing building. I did some research for it, but couldn’t find much about it.
