Blank walls are lonely. These pieces are 3ft by almost 5ft.
This image is a slightly new direction from what I have been up to normally as I’ve printed this on an industrial printer which introduced a bunch of scratches and lines that were not in the original image. This method introduces flaws like scratches and a limited color palette to the existing image. Part of this is an exercise for me to accept imperfection in an image.
This image set is titled ‘Focus’ because it is the exact opposite of what this image is as the majority of the image is out of focus to some degree.
The image of the crane used a tilt shift lens to achieve the look you see. The image of the lady was a double exposure made in camera. The only thing done in post was to make it black and white.
